Let’s Chat: Touch Points

One of the most effective ways to improve your marketing efforts is through touch points. As a general rule, the average person interacts with an identity/brand eight times before deciding to invest in this relationship. These touch points don’t specifically have a purchasing call-to-action, but act as an interactive way for your identity to stay in front of your potential client. Do you have any effective ways you communicate with your clients without directly asking for a purchase or investment?

  • Creative Inspiration: Print Is Not Dead

In this day and age where it seems everything is accessible via the internet and the need for printed magazines and newspapers are no longer needed, there are many out there who are strongly standing by the statement of “Print Is Not Dead.” And I’m one of those people. Call me a creative dork, but I love flipping through a magazine or other printed piece that has a strong aesthetic, is laid out well and just looks good. Throw in some really amazing paper and I’m hooked.

Recently, a fabulous publication debuted with this “Print Is Not Dead” mindset. It’s called “Anthology.” As found on their web site, Anthology is “a new quarterly shelter and lifestyle print magazine that takes a narrative approach to its coverage of home décor, travel, design, entertaining, and culture.”

And to show off their fun and creative spunk, they put together this fabulous video. Click here to view it. Hope you enjoy!

Scenes from the Office: Doug and Freddy

Doug got his new business cards today.  He’s excited.  I think he looks like Freddy Frog when he has his headphones on.  Don’t you?

    Baby #2!

Marizka‘s baby girl, Alivia Paige, stopped by the office today with family and received love from all. Below she is shown with Nancy and Brad.

On the Road with Willow: To Ohio and Beyond

It’s officially November and there is a definite chill in the air. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to spend the day at Hamilton Safe, one of our newest clients. Hamilton Safe is located in Cincinnati, OH and makes items such as vaults, safe deposit boxes, lockers, transaction drawers & windows and tube transport systems for banks, pharmacies, retailers and the government.

I had the opportunity to visit 3 of the factories, which was very educational. It’s also extremely amazing that all of their products are made right here in the U.S. with the amount of customization that they do for each of their products. Of course a trip to Cincinnati is never complete without a trip to Skyline Chili, Jungle Jims and Ikea.

On Thursday, Kim and Sue will be attending the IBJ Women of Influence Event.  There will be 650 attendees. Elaine Bedel from our client, Bedel Financial, won the award last year and will be attending as a sponsor this year.

Brad, Kim and Mark will also be receiving a tour at IDI Composites International on Thursday. IDI is our newest client and we are looking forward to meeting with them and seeing their facility first hand.
